I got a job as the designer for some nightclubs and backpacker places in the Valley yesterday. It was a cool job, fun, ongoing casual work, with the money coming in handy overseas. It was cool. I was happy. They loved my work too! 24 hours later I was fired. Hooray! They said its not cuz of me, or my work, but purely cuz I'll be leaving soon. Perhaps next time I'll keep my idiot mouth shut.
