PHOTOSHOP MYTH 103: SOLVED!

GeorgeW

SO I HEARD THIS RUMOUR that you couldn't scan in money through Photoshop, that the program could count the number of repetitive lines or something and simply not allow you to do it. I also heard that it will let you but only up to a certain resolution.

So in the name of science (well, not science, more mild entertainment) I tried it! I scanned in an American $1 bill, because if any country would be banned by Adobe, it'd be America, at full size, at a resolution of 1500dpi (monitors are 72dpi, and most printed material is 300dpi)

CONCLUSION: Disappointingly, and obviously as you can see the scanned image; it didn't work. Or rather it worked fine. The program allowed me to scan, no watermarks appeared and the resolution was fine. I wanted to be slapped on the wrist by Adobe. Ha! What a push-over.

You know what is even more surreal... if you zoom in and enhance that image just to the right of the iris... there is a map to where the Holy Grail lies...

Unlike that movie national tresure with the pyramid with the eye thingo...
