OBSCURE TO FAMOUS
I DON'T WANT TO SAY THEY COPIED but they're very similar styles. Watch the 'Finally' video by CeCe Peniston, and the original iPods ads (the black silhouettes on colored backgrounds) and tell me if I'm being crazy. I realise that they're produced in a drastically different way, and the CeCe video isn't really the same... but there is definitely a similarity between some of the shots!

Dude, there are no original ideas. SIgh. Although not as blatant a ripoff as these guys.
Wow. They are total ripoffs. I don't think the iPod ads are ripoffs, they're just similar to the CeCe video. They were produced in different ways (iPod digitally and CeCe with bits of plastic in front of the camera) and the iconic white cable is obviously not in the CeCe video, and that's the key element of the iPod ad.
But hopefully there are SOME original ideas left. Hopefully.
